Veeam v10: Cumulative Patch 20201202 released


Veeam released the Cumulative Patch 20201202 for Veeam Backup & Replication 10a providing the support for VMware vSphere 7.0 Update1.

Before installing the update, make sure you are running Veeam VBR 10a (build To check the installed version, select Settings > Help > About in the Veeam Backup & Replication console.

Veeam v10a Cumulative Patch 20201202 what’s new

Cumulative Patch 20201202 provides the following enhancements:

  • VMware vSphere 7.0 U1 – added the support for latest version of VMware vSphere.
  • RHEL 8.3 and SLES 15 SP2 – Veeam Agent for Linux now supports these distributions.
  • Microsoft Windows 10 version 20H2 and Microsoft Windows Server version 20H2 – added the support as guest OS of VMs protected by host-based backups, for servers and workstations protected by agent-based backups, as Hyper-V hosts and for the installation of VBR.
  • S3-compatible – added support for S3-compatible object storage with versioning enabled and object lock disabled on the bucket.


Install the Cumulative Patch 20201202

Download the Cumulative Patch 20201202 from Veeam website and run the installer. Click Next to install the update.


Enable option Update remote components automatically and click Install.


The update is being installed.


When the installation has been completed, click Finish to exit the wizard.


After upgrade, the build number will be P20201202.
